Are you qualified in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics or plant? Are you looking for an opportunity within field service where full ongoing training on all equipment will be provided? Are you looking to join a business that truly cares for, nurtures and develops their people?
On joining this business, you will be trained on how to inspect, repair and service a wide range of mechanical and hydraulic equipment including load lifters, steps, cranes, ramps, winches and moving decks, gaining a recognised industry certification.
Responsibilities:- Carry out both planned service and unplanned breakdown repairs to customers' vehicle fleets throughout the central belt of Scotland and further afield when required.
- Be on-call 1 in 3 weekends and every other week covering evenings after training.
- Ideally qualified to NVQ level or equivalent in mechanical engineering, vehicle mechanics, plant machinery or similar.
- Practical approach to problem solving.
- Comfortable using various hand tools.
- Experience in repairing, maintaining or servicing mechanical equipment.
- Prior knowledge or experience of working with hydraulics and basic fault finding on 12 & 24 volt would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
- Ongoing training and career development including the opportunity to gain a recognised industry certification.
