We are looking for a Project Engineer for a permanent position based in St Helens.
- Immediate start available
- (subject to interview process)
Salary
£34,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Monday to Thursday 8am to 4:30pm and Friday 8am to 2pm.
You will be expected to attend site, including meetings, visits, maintenance and installation jobs when required, across the UK.
- Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Scheduling: Developing comprehensive project plans for each project, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation.
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all tasks and milestones are identified and tracked and targets are achieved.
- Carry out and complete on-site surveys to ensure client expectations in terms of specification, timescales, and costs are achievable prior to project commencement.
- Support the operations team in carrying out progress meetings to ensure delivery.
- Collaborate with Design and Production teams.
- Budget
Management: Continued monitoring of project costs during the project lifecycle (including labour, plant, materials, and sub-contractors) and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints through to handover.
- Quality
Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure work is completed to industry standards and client specifications; conduct regular onsite inspections and audits to verify compliance; ensuring O&M Manuals are completed on time, at handover and in line with our clients specifications; ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Mechanical codes, standards, and regulations; auditing work completed and test and inspection certificates are essential.
- Client
Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, attending pre-contract meetings and providing regular face to face and email updates regarding project progress; address client concerns quickly and thoroughly and maintain strong customer relationships.
