Responsibilities
- Using internal estimating and take‑off systems to accurately cost project/enquiry.
- Calculating preliminary costs, in conjunction with Account Managers and Delivery Teams.
- Developing client relationships to enhance opportunities to tender, negotiate and increase tender margins.
- Liaising with the Client and Design Team during the tender process.
- Producing sub‑contract and material enquiries for joinery.
- Answering sub‑contractor and supplier queries and appraising quotations.
- Checking tender documents and making amendments where required.
- Abstracting information into subcontract and material packages.
- Identifying scope for design alternatives and value engineering.
- Attending site surveys when required.
- Attending post‑tender negotiations with clients.
Qualifications
- Joinery or Metalworks manufacturing experience, ideally.
- Confidence in taking enquiries from clients, pricing, presenting quotes for internal adjudication and submitting professionally to the client teams.
