Responsibilities

  • Estimating role dealing with a range of hard landscaping projects for the commercial sectors
  • Interpreting client requirements, specifications and scope of works
  • Manage the full tender life-cycle from start to finish
  • Populating tender documents and producing quotations
  • Hand over quotations to Operations team to follow up
  • Manipulating data from pricing schedules on Excel
  • Obtaining price lists from suppliers where required
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
  • Typical project value ranges from £1m - £10m

Qualifications

  • Must have 5 years Estimating experience within the landscaping or civil sector
  • Highly advantageous to have hard landscaping / civil background
  • Ideally worked with Tier-1 contractors, printable contractors and commercial customers
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and commercial skills
  • Comfortable working within a fast moving constantly evolving company
  • Driven, hungry and can work autonomously and as part of a team
