Site Manager Role for a traditional building contractor, with an excellent name, who allow you the autonomy to deliver projects from start to finish, without the excessive red tape and typical tier 1 protocols.
The building contractor takes on projects of varied nature, including Modular, Healthcare, education, local authority, commercial, private residential, sports and leisure, embassy and buildings. They have always been known to have an excellent reputation, focusing on the delivery of construction projects ranging from £200k - £5m, including refurbishment, new build and Cut and Carve.
The candidate we are looking for is someone who can prove longevity experience working as a Site Manager/Supervisor, who can be left to stand-alone on site reporting progress to the visiting Contracts Manager. The candidate would be responsible for full site operations, paperwork, health & safety, induction as well as managing clients.
The contractor operating in Kings Lynn predominantly covers Modular projects, which are prefabricated modules installed, followed by drainage, water supply, electrics, external landscaping and making good.
Responsibilities:
- CSCS card Gold Minimum
- A construction related degree, HNC/HND or NVQ Level 4 are highly desirable.
- SMSTS or equivalent is highly desirable.
- First Aid
- Sound understanding and experience in the application of safety legislation and corporate safety procedures, including CDM.
- Good management and communication skills
- Good operational planning and time management skills
