We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of a leading roofing and cladding contractor delivering projects across Edinburgh and the East of Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing business with a strong order book and ongoing work secured with major Tier 1 contractors. The successful candidate will have experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects and be confident managing roofing and cladding packages within fast-paced construction environments.

The Role

  • Managing roofing and cladding projects from site setup through to completion
  • Coordinating subcontractors, labour, and site activities
  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in line with programme requirements
  • Managing quality control, inspections, and snagging works
  • Maintaining site documentation including RAMS, permits, and progress reports
  • Liaising closely with Tier 1 main contractors, clients, and internal management teams
  • Monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are achieved
  • Promoting high standards of health & safety and site presentation

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing roofing & cladding projects
  • Experience working on projects for Tier 1 contractors is essential
  • Strong understanding of external envelope systems
  • Valid SMSTS
  • CSCS Card
  • First Aid certification
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within live construction environments
