Role: Fabricator/Welder
Shift & Pay Details:
- Dayshift: Monday - Friday, 07:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: Up to £19.00 per hour, depending on experience. Overtime available at enhanced rates.
This position is for a client that manufactures specialist equipment for a range of industry sectors, including heavy engineering and marine products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marking out
- Metal preparation
- Cutting
- Bending
- Assembly
- Welding
Fabrication work will primarily involve carbon steel and stainless steel, including pipe work and plate fabrication.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Fabricator, capable of carrying out MIG welding to a high standard.
- Experience of TIG and MMA welding (preferred).
- Experience in fabrication across a wide range of material thicknesses.
- Ability to carry out plating/fabrication activities such as cutting, rolling, bending, etc.
- Ability to work from engineering drawings.
- Ability to handle and operate industrial equipment safely (e.g., overhead cranes).
- Experience working with acoustic products (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- FLT license (advantageous).
