Lodestone Recruitment is working with a growing engineering company in Sheffield to recruit a TIG welder. The business has experienced massive growth over the last 3 years with a range of fabrication based projects. The shop has recently been refurbished, providing a well run workshop.
Requirements
- Apprentice trained or time served Welder with a bias in TIG welding.
- Predominant experience in TIG welding on Aluminium.
- Experience in butt and fillet welds to full x-ray penetrant standard.
- Range of experience working on steel up to 15 mm thick.
- Prior experience on medium to heavy engineering projects or large fabricated parts for Oil & Gas, Nuclear or Defence sectors to coded standard would be ideal.
Please note that if you have not worked on Aluminium or have limited experience, you will not be considered for this role and there is no fabrication involved.
Benefits
- Salary: £39k + overtime paid at x1.5 (£20/hr day rate).
- Shifts: Regular days 7:30 am-3:30 pm Monday to Friday.
- Hours: 37.5 hr per week.
- Duration: Permanent.
- Pension: Recent enhanced pension 10% contribution from employer / 5% from employee.
- Overtime: Overtime available paid at T1/2.
