About the role
The position is a site‑based role focusing on the safe and efficient installation of new build solar PV systems, EV chargers, battery storage, and other low‑carbon electrical solutions for housing developers.
Responsibilities
- Install PV systems (inverters, meters) and associated renewable energy systems.
- Complete accurate and timely paperwork, certifications, and reports using Apps.
- Ensure compliance with MCS, Health & Safety, and Quality standards.
- Work independently and as part of a team, managing personal workload and delivering excellent customer service.
- Travel on a daily basis and stay overnight when required.
Qualifications
- 18th Edition electrical qualifications (BS7671)
- N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Building and Structures) or a completed apprenticeship with AM2
- Solar certification (BPEC or City & Guilds)
- Level 3 Award in the Installation of Small‑Scale PV Systems (helpful but not essential)
- CSCS/ECS Card for site works
- Testing and Inspection 2391‑52
- Experience in 3‑phase installations
