Role Overview
The Site Manager will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, and high‑quality delivery of a complex refurbishment project involving the removal of existing timber decking and installation of non‑combustible decking across seven floors of an occupied or partially occupied building.
The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and experience using Multivista for photographic documentation and progress tracking.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment or structural upgrade projects.
- Strong understanding of timber removal, fire‑safety upgrades, and non‑combustible decking systems.
- Demonstrable experience using Multivista for site documentation and progress tracking.
- Ability to manage multi‑floor works, vertical logistics, and complex sequencing.
- Excellent knowledge of CDM Regulations, H&S legislation, and safe‑working practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse site teams.
- Competence in reading drawings, specifications, and technical details.
Desirable Qualifications
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
- CSCS Manager's Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- Fire safety or passive‑fire‑protection training.
- Experience working in occupied or sensitive environments
