Futures recruitment are looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join a leading manufacturing business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional to play a key role in ensuring products consistently meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Working closely with production and quality teams, you will be responsible for inspecting products throughout the manufacturing process, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections of drainage products throughout the production process to ensure compliance with company specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor manufacturing test results, identify trends, and investigate any out-of-specification issues or quality concerns.
  • Analyse findings and provide clear reports and recommendations to supervisors and production teams.
  • Support production operations by carrying out routine inspections and participating in plant trials and product verification activities.
  • Accurately document testing, inspection, and verification results in line with company procedures.
  • Inspect suspect or non-conforming products, perform additional testing where required, and assist with rework, regrading, or corrective action processes.
  • Maintain accurate, legible, and up-to-date quality records and documentation.
  • Ensure all quality activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety procedures and company policies.
  • Communicate quality findings effectively to relevant stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with internal and external quality audits, providing documentation and evidence as required.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a Quality Inspector, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Quality role.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection and testing.
  • Ability to interpret quality standards, specifications, and testing procedures.
  • Experience investigating quality issues and identifying root causes.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Competent in maintaining accurate records and producing clear reports.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a production team.
