Key aspects of the role:
Working within the Social Housing team, you'll be responsible for taking projects from initial tender through to contract award, ensuring everything is in place for a successful delivery.
- Managing tender submissions and ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Working closely with the Commercial, Estimating, Operations and SHEQ teams to develop project proposals.
- Planning delivery strategies, programmes, logistics and resource requirements for upcoming schemes.
- Building relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Identifying project risks and opportunities to ensure tenders are commercially viable and meet client requirements.
- Supporting the handover and mobilisation of contracts to the operational teams.
- Attending client meetings, presentations and tender interviews.
What you'll need:
- Previous experience in Pre-Construction, Bid Management or a similar role within construction or Social Housing.
- Knowledge of Social Housing refurbishment, planned maintenance, retrofit and decarbonisation.
- Strong commercial awareness and experience managing tender processes.
- Ideally come from an Estimating background.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
