We are recruiting for an experienced Plater / Fabricator to work for our client who are located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire.

The Duties of a Plater / Fabricator:

  • Reading engineering drawings for parts to be fabricated/welded.
  • Preparing and fabrication of various sizes of projects.
  • Achieve production timings in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with Project Managers during production.
  • Following all Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental procedures.
  • Completing fabrication as required and recording critical dimensions on inspection reports and performing safety checks.
  • Varied and interesting work, requiring attention to accuracy and detail to ensure tight tolerances are met.

Essential Experiences & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working within a high precision manufacturing background.
  • Excellent communication skills.

The Hours: Monday – Thursday 6.00am – 4.00pm (overtime available)

The Pay: You will earn an hourly rate of £17.50 an hour depending on experience. Overtime available.
