Are you an experienced Estimator looking for a fresh new start or an exciting change with career progression? Fawkes and Reece are proud to be working with a regional main contractor based in Sheffield recruiting for an experienced Estimator to join their dynamic construction team. You will be working on projects that would be typically ranging from £500k - £10m in value. You will be responsible for tenders from enquiry to handover within their commercial team working on both D&B and traditional forms of contract.

Duties:

  • Attend tender presentations for new projects, contribute, lead commercially and present.
  • Prioritisation of all tenders.
  • Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for contracts.
  • Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement.
  • Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities.
  • Prepare tender summaries and attend start‑up pre‑price and price meetings.
  • Assist in preparation for settlement meeting enquiries whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.
