Hours You’ll Work
- Monday - Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
- Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm.
- Every second week overtime is completed between 8:00 am - 1:00 pm, although can be longer depending on requirements.

Opportunity
MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a prestigious company in the Consett area.
Role
- Adhering to health and safety standards, and reporting all issues.
- Responsible for following all standard procedures used in the production of customer orders.
- Following customer test sheets/instructions and ensuring all work is completed correctly.
- Recording the relevant information on check sheets for all customer orders worked on.
- Use flat machine and overlocker to complete customer orders by sewing strips of fabrics together.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Placing templates in specific areas to ensure the products are to the highest standard.
- Following test sheets, and cross-referencing to ensure the work is to the required standard.
- Testing of materials to ensure they meet the correct standards.
- Packing items into boxes and labelling products where required.
- Worked with a variety of stains, lubricants, and various oils.
- Will do both roles from production and sewing machinery, depending on requirements at the time.
Person
- Should be comfortable working both individually and in a small team.
- Must be comfortable going for an interview and induction process.
- Must be looking for a long-term position with a permanent contract after a probation period.
- Must be able to work overtime one weekend out of every two, as this is a very important part of the role.
About You
Previous experience not essential as full training can be given, but any manufacturing experience would be advantageous.
