Senior Site Manager
A well-established Derby‑based main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join its growing team.
The company delivers projects across the retail, commercial, education and industrial sectors, with project values ranging from £1m to £10m.
The initial project is a 45‑week scheme in Hull, with a strong pipeline of future work located throughout the Midlands.
Responsibilities
- Manage all day‑to‑day site operations.
- Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure health, safety, quality and programme targets are achieved.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and design teams.
- Drive project delivery from start through to completion.
- Maintain site records and use digital site management software.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager or Senior Site Lead.
- Experience delivering projects valued between £1m‑£5m, with exposure to schemes up to £10m.
- Background in retail, commercial, education or industrial construction.
- Experience managing refurbishment, extension and fit‑out projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- SMSTS certificate.
- CSCS Card.
- First Aid at Work.
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (or above).
- Experience with systems such as Biosite and/or Work Wallet is advantageous.
