Job description:
Jaberu Recruitment Services are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer / Setting Out Engineer for a site in Midlothian to start immediately.
This is a part-time opportunity, working approximately 2 days per week, providing cover for the existing Section Engineer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out accurate setting out and surveying duties on site.
- Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Interpreting construction drawings and providing technical support to site teams.
- Monitoring quality and ensuring works meet required standards.
- Liaising with site management and subcontractors.
- Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Section Engineer or Setting Out Engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, surveying and setting out.
- Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience working on civil engineering or groundworks projects.
- Ability to work independently and support the existing site team.
