About the Role
As part of an established R&D team, the Senior R&D Scientist is responsible for leading independent research projects for the successful development of new diagnostic assays.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver independent research projects while working collaboratively with other departments
- Use Immunohistochemistry experience to design, perform, and interpret research experiments
- Support the wider R&D group with the development of new diagnostic products
- Work in-line with regulatory and quality standards within the diagnostic sector
Qualifications
- Prior industry experience working within R&D projects supporting diagnostic development
- Good knowledge and practical experience with IHC and molecular biology techniques
- Direct experience working with IVD development and design control would be beneficial
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment (ISO13485, IVDR)
- Educated to PhD (or equivalent industry experience) in a relevant scientific discipline
