We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor for a major civils project. This transformative project involves significant highways and civil engineering works, including:
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for key work packages across highways, bridges, civils, and utilities. You will play a critical role in contract administration, cost management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring robust commercial control throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Responsibilities- Full commercial management of NEC contract
- Administration of Early Warning Notices and Compensation Event
- Cost forecasting, reporting, and risk management
- Subcontract procurement and management
- Change control and value engineering
- Liaising with operational teams, planners, and project manager
- Ensuring commercial compliance across all project phases
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, or a Quantity Surveyor ready to step up (minimum 3 years’ experience)
- Strong working knowledge and practical experience with NEC Contracts (essential)
- Demonstrable experience in at least one of the following: Highways, Bridges, Civils or Utilities.
