We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a portfolio of large-scale logistics developments across the M5 corridor. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple sites, delivering complex civil infrastructure and highways packages for a leading main contractor.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the commercial management of civil and highways works across several major logistics schemes. This is a dynamic position requiring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple packages simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the commercial delivery of civil infrastructure and highways packages across multiple sites
- Manage budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasting across projects
- Administer NEC contracts, including compensation events and variations
- Lead subcontract procurement, negotiation, and account management
- Monitor and report on project performance, risks, and opportunities
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure commercial objectives are met
- Provide clear and accurate reporting to senior management
- Mentor and support junior commercial staff where required
- Strong experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, infrastructure, or highways
- Proven track record managing multiple projects or sites simultaneously
- Excellent knowledge of NEC forms of contract
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Degree qualified or working towards a professional qualification (e.g., RICS)
