An exceptional opportunity for a real estate project management professional with strong sustainability experience to join a UK facilities team in a senior role. You will drive the development and execution of real estate projects across the UK to ensure the estates resources of the business meet its current and future needs whilst achieving key sustainability and decarbonization targets across new and existing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering concepts and proposals and overseeing key real estate and facilities projects using structured project management methodologies.
- Ensuring projects align with sustainability targets and net zero commitments and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead the integration of sustainability initiatives into real estate strategy to align with global standards and sustainability strategy.
- Integrate energy efficiency and renewable energy programs, driving carbon reduction across the portfolio.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including planning teams within and outside the business to ensure innovation, sustainability and best value.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team.
The Person
- Demonstrable experience of project delivery (PMP or similar) and the achievement of sustainability targets within the sector.
- Appropriate degree+ level qualification and min. 10+ years relevant sector experience of project leadership.
- Further professional qualifications / certifications (CEM, LLED/WELL AP/ISSP etc.).
- A clear understanding and experience of ESG reporting.
- Strong leadership ability and communication skills at all levels of the business and with external bodies, verbally and in writing, able to brief, work with and develop your team effectively to optimise their performance.
- Ability to translate strategy into delivery and drive projects from early stages to implementation.
- IT skills including an understanding of current and future FM and project management systems.
