Our client, a renowned consultancy in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in London, Leeds or Manchester, with a particular focus on clean water design. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced engineer looking to expand their technical and operational expertise globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of multidisciplinary projects, balancing demands and priorities, whilst reviewing civil infrastructure design from project proposition through to construction.
  • Leading the technical design and specification of potable water supply, treatment, and distribution systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Planning project resources and finances, and monitoring job financial performance.
  • Managing technical staff, including planning team workload, mentoring, and developing junior team members.
  • Preparing and reviewing technical reports, specifications, and schedules.
  • Applying a customer-focused approach to contribute to securing the project pipeline.

Job Requirements

  • Strong technical background in infrastructure design, with a demonstrable track record in potable water systems.
  • Experience in potable water system design, including supply, treatment, and distribution, preferably on international multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel and lead continuous quality improvement in the work.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution.
