Role Overview

Support a portfolio of large‑scale civil projects focusing on surface water and temporary drainage design. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, practical, and compliant designs.

Key Duties

  • Produce surface water drainage designs for major civil and infrastructure schemes
  • Support temporary works and interim design solutions
  • Use InfoDrainage and Civil 3D to develop and refine designs
  • Undertake site assessments and resolve technical challenges
  • Design drainage features including basins, ditches, pumping systems, and treatment processes
  • Ensure all work aligns with current standards and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare clear and accurate technical reports and supporting documentation

About You

  • Proven experience in drainage design, ideally within highways or major civils
  • Strong working knowledge of InfoDrainage and Civil 3D
  • Experience delivering surface water solutions beyond standard pipe networks
  • Ability to produce detailed technical documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
