Role Overview
Support a portfolio of large‑scale civil projects focusing on surface water and temporary drainage design. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, practical, and compliant designs.
Key Duties
- Produce surface water drainage designs for major civil and infrastructure schemes
- Support temporary works and interim design solutions
- Use InfoDrainage and Civil 3D to develop and refine designs
- Undertake site assessments and resolve technical challenges
- Design drainage features including basins, ditches, pumping systems, and treatment processes
- Ensure all work aligns with current standards and regulatory requirements
- Prepare clear and accurate technical reports and supporting documentation
About You
- Proven experience in drainage design, ideally within highways or major civils
- Strong working knowledge of InfoDrainage and Civil 3D
- Experience delivering surface water solutions beyond standard pipe networks
- Ability to produce detailed technical documentation
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
