What You'll Be Doing: As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will take responsibility for the planning, management and delivery of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations while supporting the development of junior team members.

- Planning, specifying and supervising ground investigations across a range of sectors.
- Overseeing the operation, management and interpretation of geotechnical and geoenvironmental investigations.
- Supervising engineers, graduates, assistants and field technicians.

- Undertaking site visits and supervising trial pits, boreholes and other ground investigation techniques.

What You'll Need: To be considered for this Senior Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have:
- A degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, Geoenvironmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in geotechnical site investigation and contaminated land assessments.
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical principles.
- Experience providing foundation recommendations and ground‑related advice.
- Experience undertaking and supervising trial pits, boreholes and other field investigation techniques.
- Knowledge of soil, groundwater and ground gas risk assessments.
- Previous experience supervising engineers, graduates and field technicians.
- Line management experience and the ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
