You’ll play a key role in delivering ground investigation and geoenvironmental projects across sectors such as offshore wind, onshore wind, and wider infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning, managing, and interpreting ground investigations for renewables schemes
- Producing factual and interpretative geotechnical and geoenvironmental reports
- Supervising site works including drilling, sampling, and logging
- Providing geological and geotechnical input into design (foundations, earthworks, slope stability)
- Supporting offshore and onshore project delivery where required
- Mentoring junior engineers and geologists
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, or a related discipline
- Strong industry experience in a similar role (typically 5+ years)
- Experience working on infrastructure or energy/renewables projects
- Solid understanding of ground investigation and reporting
- Experience supervising site works and managing projects
- Working towards or holding Chartered status (GeolSoc/ICE) is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
