We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major geotechnical and civil engineering renewal scheme in the South West. This is a site-based role working on a high-value infrastructure project, with some office-based work around Bristol and occasional home working available.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering delivery across site operations
- Production and management of:
- Material approvals
- ITPs
- Red line drawings
- WPPs and RAMs
- Client coordination and attendance at site meetings
- Manage and mentor junior engineers
- Carry out setting out using GPS and Total Station equipment where required
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements
Please note: Some weekend and night working may be required. A 24/7 possession period is scheduled from 06/07/26 – 03/08/26, therefore flexibility around shifts is essential during this phase.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience within civil engineering/infrastructure projects
- Previous Tier 1 contractor experience
- HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering
- ICE membership (Graduate, IEng or MICE desirable)
- SMSTS
- TWC CITB Ticket
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- PTS (Rail)
- Appointed Person (AP)
- ALO Planner / Coordinator / Responsible Manager
