With a strong local presence and a reputation for excellence on landmark projects, this firm is looking to expand their team in Leeds with an experienced Senior Civil Engineer.
About the Role
This is a fantastic chance to take ownership of diverse civil engineering projects, including complex mixed-use developments, educational facilities, and healthcare infrastructure. You'll be responsible for independently managing projects from inception to completion, overseeing client relationships, budgets, and quality assurance. Mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional growth will also form a key part of your role. You'll be joining a collaborative and supportive team environment, where technical expertise is valued and professional development is actively encouraged.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a solid track record in leading civil engineering projects, with strong organisational skills to develop and manage design programmes and resources efficiently. Key experience includes:
- Conceptual and detailed design of sustainable drainage systems (SuDS)
- Proficiency in Civil 3D for drainage network modelling
- Confidence in engaging with clients, authorities, and multidisciplinary teams
Additional advantages:
- Experience with bulk earthworks
- Knowledge of flood risk assessments
- Currently pursuing or holding membership in a recognised professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIHT)
