Senior Civil Engineer - Water

Advance TRS are recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a growing Water team in Bristol, working on a range of water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams, taking responsibility for civil engineering design.
- Deliver feasibility, outline and detailed designs, reports and technical specifications.
- Work across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage design through to delivery.
- Develop sustainable solutions focused on cost, carbon efficiency and technical performance.
- Build strong relationships with major water-sector clients.
- Support project planning, commercial delivery and stakeholder management.
- Ensure projects meet H&S, environmental and technical standards.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and support to junior engineers.
About You
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or working towards Chartership with ICE, CIWEM or equivalent.
- Proven senior-level water-sector experience.
- Strong experience in water/wastewater design, ideally including hydraulics and treatment schemes.
- Experience delivering outline and/or detailed design.
- Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Eligible to work in the UK without restrictions.
