Key Duties
- Assume full responsibility for end-to-end bookkeeping for 3 large clients.
- Review bookkeeping completed by the bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and resolve queries within the bookkeeping data.
- Communicate with clients by phone and email to request missing information or clarify transactions.
- Coordinate the progress of bookkeeping projects through our workflow system.
- Send work back to the bookkeeping team for correction where required.
- Support the accounting team by ensuring bookkeeping records are accurate and complete.
- Maintain excellent client service and professional communication.
- Help improve bookkeeping quality and consistency across the firm.
Qualifications
- 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Minimum 2 years of accountancy practice experience.
- Excellent understanding of QuickBooks and/or Xero.
- Strong attention to detail, with experience reviewing work and identifying errors.
- Confident in communicating with clients by phone and email.
Additional Information
Reporting to the Practice Manager, the role offers autonomy to help build better processes and training to support future scale of the organization.
