Senior Architect
Location: Nottingham, UK
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (Dependent Upon Experience)

This opportunity would be ideal for a Senior/Project Architect with proven experience in defence/secure environments (and wider public/commercial sectors) who is confident using Revit and AutoCAD (BIM experience desirable).

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm, with Hybrid working
Duties:
- Lead architectural projects (Up to £10m in value) across multiple sectors, including sensitive/secure defence schemes.
- Interpret complex client briefs and deliver strategic, compliant design responses.
- Act as Lead Consultant, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, external consultants and contractors.
- Produce site appraisals, feasibility studies, planning applications and detailed designs for competitive tender.
- Manage tender processes, value engineering, post-tender analysis and recommendations.
- Serve as Project Manager / Contract Administrator through delivery: site progress, technical compliance, QA and financial performance.
Requirements:
- ARB Registered and Qualified Architect with a minimum of 5 years’ experience post qualification
- Proven experience in defence or other secure, policy-driven environments is beneficial
- Ability to secure UK security clearance to SC level is essential
- Fully proficient user of Revit and AutoCAD
- Excellent design experience from feasibility to technical delivery (Riba Stages 1 – 5)
- Comfortable delivering within client-prescribed frameworks, QA systems and sector standards (e.g., MOD / JSP)
- Great communication skillset and a supportive and collaborative mentor – supporting BD activity, resource planning, profitability and cross-office teamwork
