We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join a well-established, RIBA‑chartered architectural practice based in Birmingham. The studio is part of a dedicated team of enthusiastic individuals who are known for beautifully crafted, people‑driven design. The practice works across a diverse portfolio including hospitality, healthcare, education and residential schemes, with a strong reputation for high‑quality delivery and long‑standing client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Leading the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion
  • Producing detailed architectural drawings using CAD, BIM and hand sketching techniques
  • Managing project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary consultants to meet deadlines
  • Acting as Project Lead, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to a high standard
  • Liaising with clients, contractors and statutory bodies including Planning and Building Control
  • Preparing and presenting design proposals, reports and key stage submissions
  • Undertaking site visits and representing the practice at meetings and client engagements

Requirements

  • ARB registered Architect with substantial post‑qualification experience
  • Proven ability to lead projects through all RIBA stages
  • Strong design, technical and detailing skills with high creative capability
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD within a BIM environment
  • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and project delivery processes
  • Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and complex projects
