My client is seeking a qualified and experienced Domestic Electrician to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, testing, and inspection work within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installations in domestic settings (new builds, refurbishments, and rewires)
  • Perform fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs
  • Conduct inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
  • Ensure all work complies with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
  • Complete relevant documentation and certification accurately
  • Liaise with customers professionally and provide excellent service
  • Work independently or as part of a team to meet project deadlines

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • AM2 qualification
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection
  • JIB Gold Card
  • Proven experience working in domestic electrical environments
  • Full UK driving licence
