Dalkia UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take full responsibility for delivering projects from design stage through to client handover. This role requires a strong focus on safety, quality, programme delivery, and commercial performance within the fire and security sector.

The Role

  • You will manage projects end-to-end, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations.
  • You will work closely with internal departments, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution and high standards throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects from design through to completion and handover.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent delivery of quality work.
  • Oversee subcontractors and commissioning teams, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with design teams and manufacturers to ensure technical suitability and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and report regularly to the Operations Manager and commercial team.
  • Identify and secure additional works and support tendering activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery, safety, and team performance.
  • Carry out regular health and safety inspections and ensure compliance at all times.

Requirements

Essential

  • Industry experience within construction and/or fire and security.
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable

  • 5–10 years’ industry experience.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience in installation and commissioning of fire and security systems.
