We’re working with a growing construction and civil engineering contractor who are looking to add an Estimator to their team in Runcorn. They’ve got a strong pipeline of work in concrete repairs, structural repair, and civils, and this is a good chance to join a newer, expanding office where you’ll have real input as the team develops.

Responsibilities

  • Producing accurate estimates and tender returns for concrete repair, structural repair, and civil projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specs, and ITT information to understand scope, risks, and constraints
  • Sending out and analysing subcontractor and supplier enquiries to build competitive pricing
  • Working closely with preconstruction and operational teams to get the detail right
  • Supporting with value engineering ideas and identifying commercial opportunities
  • Helping improve estimating templates/processes as the office grows

Qualifications

  • Estimating experience in construction/civils (ideally concrete repairs, structural repair, or similar specialist works)
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Confident juggling multiple tenders and deadlines
