The Opportunity

An opportunity has become available to join a global leader in the Pharmaceutical sector as a Production Planner. This role will sit in a close-knit team and will play a pivotal role in coordinating production activities and supporting the delivery of critical products to customers.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Develop and continuously adjust daily production schedules in line with available capacity and operational priorities
  • Coordinate workflow and sequencing of manufacturing activities to ensure customer demand and delivery timelines are met
  • Monitor stock levels and trigger actions to maintain availability of key materials and finished goods
  • Track production performance against plan, escalating risks and resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, attending daily meetings and communicating updates to stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a production planning or scheduling role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data such as bills of materials and production requirements
  • Ability to use MS Excel to a high level
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across operations, quality and commercial teams
  • A structured and proactive approach, with the flexibility to adapt to changing workloads and priorities

It’s great if you also have the following:

  • SAP Experience
  • Experience in the Pharmaceutical sector
