Controls Engineers. We know you have probably got another 2 PLC projects waiting for you, so we will keep this brief.
My client is a very busy control systems integration company, and they need a Controls Engineer or Control Systems Engineer to join the team. Their current order book covers factory automation, PLC, robotic and industrial automation systems projects for leading engineering customers.
Will there be variety? Oh yes. Can I concentrate on high-quality PLC and HMI machine control systems? Yes. Safety systems? Yes. Drive systems? Yes. The same project every day until retirement? Thankfully, no.
Will I see the full project lifecycle? Yes: PLC programming, testing, acceptance and commissioning. Will I be working alone? No, you will be part of a group of engineers. Will I spend my life in airports? No, the engineering sites are mostly local and all in the UK.
What do I need? Allen-Bradley or Rockwell Studio 5000 experience, or Siemens S7 or TIA Portal PLC programming experience. An electrical background? Yes. Happy to commission the finished project on UK sites? Also yes. Can we give you help with a Visa now or in the future? No.
What is the salary? Up to Β£60,000, depending on experience, plus benefits and paid overtime. Will there be plenty to do? Have you seen the bit about the very busy order book? Oh yes.
