Role Overview
Our client, a well-established and highly respected Fire & Security company, is looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their growing team. With a strong reputation across the South of England, they provide high quality fire and security solutions to a diverse customer base and are seeking a motivated engineer who takes pride in delivering excellent workmanship and customer service.
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and fault-finding of a range of fire and security systems. The majority of your work will be located across Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire, with occasional travel to Somerset, Surrey and London for specific client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire alarm systems
- Fault-finding, repairs and system diagnostics
- Carrying out planned servicing and maintenance visits
- Completing small works and system upgrades
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
- Participating in the on-call rota (1 week in every 3, paid additionally)
Skills & Experience Required
- Hikvision, Avigilon, AXIS, Texecom, Orisec, Galaxy, CAME, Paxton, Apollo, Advanced, Kentec
- Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry
- Strong installation and fault-finding abilities
- Good knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms, access control and fire alarm systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
