Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 neg. + Up to 50% commission.

Responsibilities:

  • Field sales position selling the hire of site accommodation, static and mobile welfare units and site power generators with renewable energy.
  • Promoting mobile welfare units, CCTV, fire & security, site toilets & showers, wheel washing, lighting towers, shelters & storage, fuel & water tanks, site power, site accommodation and solar generators, solar smart frames, battery storage units and renewable power accessories.
  • Predominantly selling into Tier One infrastructure contractors within utilities, road, rail and highways.
  • Responsible for approx. 6 accounts; predominantly utilities contractors.
  • Responsible for growing revenue from £2,500-£3,000 per day to £4,000 per day.
  • Targeting projects within utilities, road, rail and highways, typically £10,000-£20,000 small project up to £100,000 larger projects.
  • Four days a week on the road, 2 customer visits per day, one day home admin.
  • 50% new business development, 50% account managing agreements with tier one contractors typically between £600,000-£1m.

Qualifications:

  • Must have field sales experience within infrastructure; utilities, rail, highways or roads.
  • Hire/rental field sales industry experience.
  • Contacts within tier one/main contractors advantageous (utilities in particular).
  • Open on product background.
  • Ideally knowledge of renewable power products.
  • Open to all power, battery and solar field sales backgrounds.
  • New business and account management skills.
  • Engineering knowledge.
  • Experience of providing power related solutions and communicating technical product knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills.
  • Understanding of electrical installations.
