We are looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join us, covering residential, commercial, education and other sectors.
Location: Stoke-On-Trent & with travelling required as necessary
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + Car Allowance + Fuel Allowance
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5.00pm

Responsibilities:
- Estimator / Quantity Surveyor role covering both pre-construction and delivery stages
- Preparing tenders, cost plans, and enquiries
- Measuring and costing packages
- Managing subcontractors, procurement, payments, and variations
- Cross reporting to the Operations Manager and liaising with site teams
- Exposure to PCSA schemes (desirable but not essential)
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in a main contractor or established developer environment
- Background in estimating, cost planning, and Quantity Surveyor work across residential, commercial, education schemes and other sectors
- Strong Excel skills for tender analysis and cost tracking
- Clear communicator, confident with reporting and client / subcontractor liaison
- HNC, Degree Qualified (desirable but not essential)

We are a modern-thinking family run main contractor with a lean management structure, delivering residential, commercial, educational and various other schemes across Stoke-On-Trent and throughout the UK. We give our commercial team hands-on involvement in measurement and cost control from enquiry through to handover. Projects typically range up to £10m, with a strong pipeline of repeat clients and new opportunities including delaps, maintenance and reactive maintenance.
