Location: Brighton / Worthing areas (Initially working from the head office in Wickham, Southampton, before transitioning to the site).
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent
Start Date: April 2026
Salary: £45,000–£75,000 (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial control throughout project delivery
- Producing cost reports, forecasts and CVRs
- Preparing and agreeing valuations
- Subcontractor/ Labour procurement, negotiation, and management
- Identifying, collating, and managing variations; maintaining vigilance on change control
- Liaising with project teams, subcontractors, clients, and consultants
- Assisting in procurement and tendering where required
- Working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Quantity Surveyor with 4+ years post‑qualification experience, ideally with a Groundworks / RC Frame contractor
- Strong experience within Groundworks and RC frame packages
- Ability to work independently and manage commercial responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills, highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam
- Ability to independently measure/take off drawings and documents
- Strong contract administration skills; working knowledge of JCT & NEC contracts
- Familiarity with document control platforms such as Viewpoint, Aconex, Asite, Sharepoint (not essential)
- Full clean UK driving licence
