An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and detail‑focused Quality Lineside Engineer to join a high‑performing Quality team within a major manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on the shop floor, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about ensuring products and processes meet the highest standards of conformity.

The Quality Lineside Engineer plays a key role in safeguarding product integrity and driving continuous improvement across production lines. They will evaluate, coordinate, and monitor quality performance across products, processes, and services, ensuring all outputs meet stringent business and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert Quality support on drawings, parts, processes, and support services, independently assuring that all Quality requirements are met.
  • Conduct surveillance activities to ensure full adherence to the Quality Management System.
  • Ensure certification processes are consistently defined, applied, and maintained across the business.
  • Lead and coordinate responses to reported quality or technical issues, driving corrective and preventive actions through multifunctional teams.
  • Perform rapid initial investigations (e.g., Events, QLBs, NCs) to identify probable root causes and ensure timely corrective action—ideally within one shift.
  • Carry out deeper investigations into deficiencies identified during process confirmation activities, ensuring robust preventive measures are implemented.
  • Compile and present clear, insightful Quality performance overviews to the leadership team.

Required Skillset:

  • Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
  • Confident problem‑solver with experience using structured tools (PPS, 5Y, Ishikawa, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge constructively while maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Competent in data analysis, including interpretation of datasets and graphical information.
  • Collaborative team player, comfortable working within integrated operational and cross‑functional teams.
  • Background in Quality or Engineering within a major manufacturing environment (highly desirable).
