As a Quality Engineer, you will provide vital QA and QC support to ensure first‑time quality delivery across the project. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing project procedures
  • Reviewing contractual documentation
  • Conducting site inspections and audits
  • Supporting quality performance monitoring
  • Working closely with suppliers and project teams to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards
  • Proactively managing risks and non‑conformances

Qualifications:

  • Extensive understanding and implementation of ISO 9001:2015
  • Proven experience in quality engineering within highly regulated sectors such as defence, nuclear, or aerospace
  • Demonstrable ability to lead audits, perform root cause analysis, and improve processes
  • Strong IT skills, proficient with MS Office and SharePoint
  • Effective report writing skills and experience managing supplier relationships

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of nuclear compliance legislation
  • Professional memberships (e.g., CQI or IRCA)
  • Industry‑recognised auditor qualification
  • NDT certification
