Our exclusive client, NMB Minebea (Lincoln) is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead their Quality function during an exciting period of sustained growth. With major long-term contracts secured with industry leaders such as Airbus and Safran, this role offers exceptional stability and genuine long-term career progression to Director-level Quality positions.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Quality Assurance function, leading a team of 6 QA Engineers and driving compliance, performance, and continuous improvement across the business.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 QA Engineers.
- Manage and improve the Quality Management System in line with AS9100 / AS9001 standards.
- Act as the primary quality interface for key aerospace customers, including Airbus and Safran.
- Lead internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, right-first-time, and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in aerospace quality assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100 / AS9001 standards.
- Proven leadership experience managing QA or Quality Engineering teams.
- Experience working with major aerospace OEMs or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers.
