The Role
You\'ll be the technical focal point across multiple building services projects, coordinating design activities, driving programme delivery, and ensuring every stage of the engineering process meets both commercial and technical expectations.
Working across pre-construction and live projects, you\'ll review technical submissions, oversee design development, manage consultant coordination, and support successful installation and commissioning.
You\'ll also play an important role in identifying engineering risks early, proposing practical solutions, and ensuring projects continue to move forward without compromising quality or compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical delivery and coordination of mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion.
- Manage technical design programmes, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and aligned with project milestones.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure designs are fully integrated, compliant, and buildable.
- Review and approve technical submissions, Requests for Information (RFIs), engineering drawings, and design documentation.
- Provide technical guidance and engineering solutions that meet project specifications, regulatory requirements, and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee the production and coordination of commissioning strategies, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and system validation documentation.
- Ensure all building services installations are delivered in accordance with approved designs, relevant legislation, and quality standards.
- Support fire strategy coordination, building safety requirements, and wider compliance activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify technical risks, design changes, and project variations, working closely with commercial and operational teams to manage their impact.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal project teams while providing regular updates on design progress and technical performance.
