We’re working with a well-established principal contractor delivering a high-specification £25m design and build project in Mayfair and are looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team. The scheme is a 7-storey private members club comprising shell & core plus high-end fit-out works, due for completion in the spring of 2028. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior/intermediate QS looking to develop under the guidance of an experienced Managing QS on a complex and design-led central London project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the commercial management of subcontract packages
  • Procurement support and issuing purchase orders
  • Supporting valuations, variations and subcontractor accounts
  • Site measurement and progress tracking
  • Attending subcontractor and site meetings
  • Reviewing invoices and maintaining accurate commercial records
  • Supporting tender analysis and package procurement
  • Working closely with the Senior QS and wider project team throughout delivery

Qualifications

  • Quantity Surveying degree or similar qualification
  • Some industry experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
  • Strong numerical and organisational skills
  • Good communication and IT skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Exposure to fit-out, refurbishment or high-specification projects would be advantageous
