Project Manager – Housing (Subcontractor Role)

Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Rate: £260 per day
Start: Immediate

The Role

As Project Manager, you’ll take ownership of project delivery from the subcontractor’s perspective — managing schedules, resources, and client communication to ensure smooth delivery across all stages of construction.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day operations and project delivery on-site
• Producing and managing construction schedules and progress reports
• Liaising directly with the main contractor and client to ensure targets and quality standards are met
• Coordinating site teams and subcontractors to maintain workflow and productivity
• Proactively resolving site or design challenges, keeping projects on track

About You

• Proven experience managing housing or residential new build schemes
• Strong background in project scheduling, delivery, and client interface
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable managing challenging or complex projects
• SMSTS / CSCS and First Aid
