Responsibilities
- Lead large internal, outsourced or customer‑funded projects involving multiple disciplines and functional groups.
- Develop and negotiate approval for the project charter and scope; ensure completion of technical and detailed product specifications.
- Communicate needs during the project’s life cycle with customers, management, project team and other stakeholders.
- Plan schedule, identify activities, document dependencies, estimate effort, and manage changes to minimize impact on project.
- Define and negotiate project team resources and obtain commitments from involved groups.
- Determine required resources and project budget; monitor and control the budget throughout the project.
- Identify, analyze and mitigate project risks; monitor and control risk.
- Determine procurement requirements, obtain bids, select vendors and work with Procurement.
- Monitor HSE and Quality standards for compliance and continuous improvement.
Environment
Ability to work within an API Q1/ISO 9001 design environment and to adhere to QHSE philosophy.
