The Role
As Project Director - Quantity Surveying, you will take full ownership of a key service line, leading and developing a high-performing commercial team.
- Lead delivery and client advisory services across multiple complex programmes.
- Operate at programme level on nationally significant, high-profile projects.
- Provide strategic commercial leadership across NEC3/NEC4 and JCT contracts, including governance, change control, and risk management.
- Oversee procurement, contract administration, and financial reporting to ensure successful programme outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across sensitive and complex stakeholder environments.
- Play a key role in shaping the growth and direction of the commercial function.
About You
- Proven experience at Associate / Project Director level within a consultancy environment.
- Strong track record delivering large-scale projects (£50m+), ideally within public sector or complex mixed-use schemes.
- Experience working on high-security or "blue light" environments is highly desirable.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 and/or JCT contract administration.
- Commercially astute with excellent technical Quantity Surveying expertise.
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent).
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ambitious, with a desire to progress into a senior leadership/director-level role.
