Shift Pattern: Rotating Early & Late Shifts (Monday–Friday)

We are supporting a leading healthcare manufacturing organisation in their search for two Production Supervisors to join their growing production team. Due to increased production volumes and continued business growth, this is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader to take ownership of production operations within a regulated cleanroom environment. You will play a key role in ensuring production targets, quality standards and operational KPIs are achieved while leading and developing high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership – Leading production teams to deliver customer orders safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Management – Supervising, motivating and developing production employees while creating a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Production Planning – Supporting the preparation and implementation of daily and weekly production plans in line with customer demand.
  • KPI Performance – Monitoring operational performance and taking action to achieve productivity, quality and delivery targets.
  • Continuous Improvement – Working closely with Engineering and Continuous Improvement teams to optimise production processes and support Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Quality Management – Driving product quality standards through employee coaching, training and active problem-solving.
  • Health & Safety – Ensuring the safe operation of production areas, including PPE compliance and correct use of machinery and equipment.
  • Cost Control – Supporting departmental budget objectives through effective management of labour utilisation, overtime and operational performance.
  • Operational Reporting – Providing accurate production updates and reporting operational performance against agreed KPIs.
  • Project Support – Contributing to new production projects and process improvement initiatives across the business.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Shift Leader or Team Leader.
  • Experience leading teams within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong people management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing production KPIs and operational performance.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • PC literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Highly Desirable

  • Experience within cleanroom manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to ISO 13485, GMP, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare or other regulated manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Pattern

  • Early Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 Monday–Thursday, 06:00 – 11:30 Friday
  • Late Shift: 14:30 – 23:00 Monday–Thursday, 11:30 – 17:00 Friday
  • Weekly rotating shift pattern
  • Site‑based role Monday–Friday
