Salary: £31,900 – £36,000 per annum
Working hours: Monday – Friday (Day Shift)

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and motivate a team of 25-30 operatives in a fast‑paced, high‑care production environment.
- Take an active role in daily production activities to ensure consistent output and quality standards.
- Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) such as efficiency, throughput, and downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on process efficiency and equipment performance.
- Maintain compliance with all food safety and regulatory standards.
- Conduct basic machinery adjustments and maintenance (e.g., film changes).
- Work closely with production planning and management teams to optimise schedules and workflow.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Proven background in food manufacturing, ideally within a supervisory or team leadership role (minimum 3 years).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to engage, develop, and manage diverse teams.
- Hands‑on experience in a high‑care or chilled food production setting.
- Food Safety Level 3 qualification (advantageous).
- Track record of progression from operative to supervisor/team leader (highly desirable).
- Comfortable managing teams of 50-80 people in a dynamic environment.
